The Band
The Band is an intermediate/advanced Accordion group currently comprising 8 players
Adrian Crotch is our Musical Director and with his enthusiasm and extensive experience of the Accordion, he ably leads us with a repertoire spanning a wide range of styles from classical and folk
to show tunes and popular music. He is happy to tailor our concerts to your requirements.
Being a more advanced group, it is ideal for musicians with existing musical experience such as established accordionists or pianists who want to play music as part of a vibrant, dynamic band. Several of our band members are pianists who have transitioned to playing the accordion later in life and enjoy the camaraderie of playing with other musicians. The Troshers
A mixed ability Accordion group focused on providing support for beginners and those just starting out on their Accordion career or who prefer a more relaxed pace. It started as a beginners'
group in 1990 and now consists of 14 members. We also have a wide range of tunes on offer, with sing-a-longs being popular favourites.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly and approachable group and we are always looking for new players to swell our numbers in both groups.
If you can read music and have a basic knowledge of the accordion or piano please come along.
We have some instruments available for low-cost hire to get you started.
